Christmas Party and Exchande gist at School

Oh I missed those Christmas party at school. When I was a child, I always look forward to Christmas because our mother will always brought us new shoes, shirts and pants. Also, I am looking forward to Christmas party at school and exchange gift. I remember our exchange gift will just cost 20 pesos. I was lucky with my receiving gifts before because I always receive gifts that cost amount we agreed upon or greater. My best exchange gift I received was a photo album-alarm clock. During that time, I was really delighted receiving such. Now, that I have work, we are also holding Christmas party at work and within our Department. We also have exchange gifts but it is never been the same before. I am less excited with the gift I will be receiving and I don't know why. How about you? Do you still join exchange gifts for Christmas?
