Everyone knows, that water is good for us. There is nothing new about that.
But there has to be a limit, right? It is not quite logical, that it is ok to drink gallons and gallons of water. All of this water surely must wash out a lot of good and necessary stuff from our bodies, too.
So what should that limit averagely be?

I've heard you're to drink 8 glasses of water every day. I think if you were drinking gallons of water, you might have to seek a doctor you might have sugar diabetes. I'm guilty of not drinking enough water like I should.

I need to drink a lot of water now that I have Kidney stones. Yes, you heard it right. I don't know how much is drinking a lot of water means when the doctor said that to me but the minimum is 8 glasses of water a day. Now that explains how water play the role and is very essential in our daily lives.

Many people say "eight glasses of water a day" which (at 250ml a glass) is roughly 2 litres or 4 pints.
What most people forget, however, is that the food you eat contains more water than you think and that it depends a great deal on your body weight, the ambient temperature, how much exercise you do and your own metabolism as to how much is right for you.
If your urine is pale straw coloured and you pee about three or four times a day, you are probably drinking enough water. About 50%-60% of the water you consume is lost through perspiration and breathing. Your body also needs adequate water (about 1.5 - 2 litres per day) to flush the kidneys. If you drink a little more than is necessary, you will not come to any harm. Drinking too little (for more than a few days) will harm you more.

It's very logical. If you think of it our bodies are 80% made of water if we over feed our body water we are drowned ourselves. So you should only drink about 8 glasses of water a day that is normally a enough for a human body or else your putting it at risk of danger.
