Hi all mommies, I was cold and crisp from where we've been. Now that summer is on, back in my native land my baby becomes prone to rashes, Shes sweating often and I am worried of red spots around her neck, I do put baby powder but not sure if that helps. She has this rashes on her hairline around her forehead too. Is this natural or I have to see a doctor? Help...

rashes normally occurs when the body is exposed to extreme hot or humid condition...have you try putting petroleum jelly? it helps soothing the skin...

Baby skin are sensitive so i suggest that you should visit a doctor for this case. Some babies are allergy with powder maybe it won't help your baby's rashes. Some babies are more sensitive than the others so it's hard to rely from other's experiences.

I agree, I have been putting a cooling powder hoping to cure it, its been days and it looks like the rash doesn't go away. I will See a doctor then. Thank You girls.. :)

It's a heat rash it's normal and it'll go away on it's own when she isn't sweating. You can try lotions but the best is to just wash the area to open the pores again.

The best approach is to see a doctor because the doctor can give you the best advice. For the meantime, a pure cornstarch baby powder can help as it absorbs moisture to keep skin dry.
