do you believe everything you hear?

There is this high-profile personality in our community who is rumored to be the reason for some killings in our community. He had allegedly hired killers to eliminate some of his "enemies" or detractors. They could not really prove these allegations though. Lately I had the opportunity to meet this "hot" personality. He was actually nice in person. Since I was doing some marketing, he mentioned a place or business which could possibly need our services and offered to introduce us to accompany us and introduce us to the owner. If you were in my place would you go with this person? Or, in the first place, would you believe everything you heard about this person? There is a famous saying in our place which says, "You can't hide smoke for a long time" or "when there is smoke, there must be fire. What do you think of this?

Granting that this person killed people- I am sure there is a reason behind.
Though it won't justify and will never hide the fact that he is still a murderer.
I don't listen to everything that I hear or read- but there is nothing wrong being careful dealing with such kind of people as well.

These allegations could be thrown about to discredit him, competitors, rivals even jealous acquaintances, yes it's true where there's smoke there's fire, and another familiar saying is that 'mud sticks' now these allegations have been made people will see him in a different light, they will now judge him because of these allegations, innocent or guilty, it won't matter in the public eye. I think you have to take them at face value. But I would be worried all the time that if I crossed him would I find out the allegations were actually true?

It is impossible to believe verything that we hear. that is why it is called gossip... we have to take into accord the things that we know and the things thqt coud be.

You don't really have to believe everything that you hear but just be cautious. Just give the benefit of the doubt.
I was in the same situation before and I just used what i heard as a warning and i became cautious but not suspicious.

No I do not believe everything i hear because rumors are to to bring people down sometimes and it is most likely not to be true. I can understand that this hot personality might have the money and power and that must be the reason for this rumor. You can think of it on your own. He could be of great help to you. you can analyze the situation, you know what I mean?

No matter how good a person hide his personality there are ways for us to know.i don't know why but that obviously i could tell from the ways he spoke and looked. So For your case you should analize him.

No i don't believe what ever i hear, if there is any proof then i can. Because there are many things which are not so what we hear . so its better to check before believing.

Depending on the situation if i was in your place , i will definitely meet him because
first of all i am not his enemy
second thing is he is high-profile personality
so there is a chance of getting good opportunity to get into business and good income.
but we never know what happens next it can be good or bad.
we have to deal with everything in marketing both good and bad.
be positive and go ahead or better quit and go for another.
