Yesterday, I finally got a time to have a haircut. My hair has many split ends already. It is shoulder long already and I really don't have much time managing long hair. I am also experiencing mild hair fall since I got a hair re-bond treatment more than a year ago. I let the hairstylist cut my hair above my shoulder. I always like short hair though I would love to have a long straight hair. But as I have said, I don't have time to groom long hair. Also, with not so short hair, I look younger. I don't have to tie up my hair all the time that gives an unwanted body to my hair. I feel also that my head is not that heavy, you know what I mean.

I wear my hair long, if I want to fix it up, I do something with it, curling it but if I'm in a hurry, I usually put it up in a ponytail. If my hair is short, I spend a lot of time trying to make it look good and that is more time than I want to spend on it. I like it long and have learned how to trim it on my own. There are a lot of videos and websites that show how to do it. I end up not having very many split ends and it grows really fast when it is trimmed.

When I have time, I iron my hair to make it straight but since I don;'t have much time in the morning I ended up in a pony tail. But long hair looks really nice. Thank you for sharing.

My rest day is on Sunday only like you. And as a mother, I will usually spend it with my family doing chores and performing my duties. That's why it took me 7 months to finally had a hair cut. Thank you for sharing.

Seven months wow, that is a long time to go without a haircut, I have to have mine cut every 12 weeks, personally I hate long hair on me, it gets untidy and unmanageable. I always go for 3, on top and back and 1.5 on sides, even at 41 my hair still grows relatively quickly, although more grey hairs are coming through now. I used to highlight my hair a lot in my twenties and thirties, but now I grow old gracefully.

I love that you grow old gracefully Nice one. Shorter hair is just what suits me now and I hope I can have it trim at least every two months. Thank you for sharing.

i like when i get my hair cut because i feel lighter but i cannot let my hair grow too long because it is really curly and thin on top (its a family thing) so to that end, i get my hair cut about every 8 weeks or so.

My hair is straight but tends to be wavy when it grows longer. So having a long hair is really stressful for me. SO now, I will just what you are doing. I will try to have a haircut or hair trim at least every two months. That you for the response.

I also tie my hair back when it was a little longer. It's really messy when I just let it flow down. So I decided now that I will just maintain it this long, I mean short, lol. Thank you for the response.

wow good one. I have not had a hair cut in a long time time and my hair is lower than my waist. I like long hair but sometimes it becomes hard to manage. it is good for you and you must be feeling very refreshed now. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..

You have a very long hair. That's nice. I can't manage even a hair just below my shoulder so I admire you. Thank you for sharing and a nice day too.

I just got a hair cut 6 weeks ago and cut it above my shoulder and colored it 2 different colors. I don't have time to mess with long hair either and with short hair it's easier to take care of just throw a few products on to it, style it how you want and your good to go. I'm due for another cut soon I missed my appointment I'll have to get on that to reschedule my appointment. I love getting new hair cuts it feels good having someone else do your hair. I hope your like your new do.

My hair is just above my shoulder too. It's easier to manage and lighter. I just have to iron it a little just to don't wave much. Unlike the long hair that it is hard to manage and I have to tie up everyday. Thanks for sharing.

I'm overdue for one as well, but I really cannot afford one. Right now we have to worry about Christmas. I am trying to grow it long, but my hair does not seem to be growing. I hate cutting my hair so short. I like long hair and so does Randy.

I got my hair cut just above my shoulder. Not that too short. I would also love to have a long hair if only my hair is not that wavy at times. Thank you for sharing

Hi Shy. Wow, I am sure you feel lighter now as well. Having manageable hair saves us time and shampoo.

Oh yes, I will agree with you. It's easy to mange shorter hair and you can save shampoo too. For a busy mom like me, shorter hair is more ideal. It's lighter too. Thank you for the response.

Unfotunately I do not know what you mean from experience because after the chemo my hair came back thin and very soft and curly. But Ia certainly can hear what you are saying... What I don't understsnd, and you said it yourself, you know that a hair cut makes you look younger, so why wait 7 months...You have to treat yourself better than this.. Remember we as women just don't take the time to take care of our selves...and we need too... I am glad you finally got your hair cut especially when It makes you look "CUTE"...LOL

Hello! Well, that is because of my busy schedule. I am a working mom and manages a small online business and doing crafts (crochet) in between. So instead of having time for myself, I allocate my free time with my family, my online shop and my crafts. I know I must give time for myself because I deserve it but my duties overrule me most of the times. Thank you for sharing.

Mine is below the shoulder too and I can't prevent it from flying away. That's why I finally decided to cut it a little shorter just above my shoulder. Now I can let it go down. Thank you for sharing.

I'm due for one as well. And like you, I've been experiencing hair fall due to the rebounding treatment I had a year or two ago. It sucks, I know but I thought I was doing the right thing then. My hair is kinda long now, falling way past below my shoulders. A much as I want to have it chopped shorter, my husband doesn't like me to sport a shorter hair. We did compromise on a certain length but I have to wait for my mom in law to do my hair for me. She's a really good hairstylist and maybe she can do wonders to revive my hair.

I actually regret having the rebond treatment. My hair is naturally straight but tends to be wavy at times so I tried the rebond treatment. So now I condition my hair by regularly applying coconut oil. Thank you for sharing.

I know exactly how you feel because I too have short hair because of the above reasons. Managing long hair can be trouble sometimes especially for those who don't love to pamper themselves always.

Yes, I agree with you. Long hair is really hard to manage and if you don't care for it regularly it will be damaged easily. I have decided that having long hair is not for me. Thank you for the response.
