My son just lost his old phone. So I need to buy a new phone for him. I am thinking of getting either the Google Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy or Motorola Razr. Google Nexus is coming within few days. Samsung Galaxy Note is also just being released a few months ago. Anybody has experienced or knowledge about these 3 phones? Which one that you prefer? What's the pros and cons of these 3 cell phones?

Hi wfhchristiner, choosing a new phone in the market nowadays is really difficult due to many choices and preferences. It all depends on your son's need. Most smartphones nowadays can support functions as a phone and a tablet at the same time. But it is up to you to decide whether or not you are comfortable with the design and size of the phone.
For example, speaking of processor, from the three choices of yours, Samsung Galaxy Note is the most powerful one, running at 1.4GHz Dual Core; while Motorola Razr is only 1.2GHz Dual Core. However, if a person is just using the phone for normal calls, messaging, surfing, 1.2GHz Dual Core is very much sufficient already. Usually getting a good phone, you need to find out the processor, memory, storage, camera, display, size, and weight. If it is all to your liking, you may consider it.
We will never be able to chase up to the most latest gadgets as it is always updating and coming out with new models. For me, among the three choices you have, i personally prefer Samsung Galaxy Note. But regardless of your choice on the phone, what is important is that no matter which phone you purchased, you must be able to utilize the functions of the phone. Hope you get to choose a proper phone that meet your son's need. =)
