Why Work?

I consider myself an observer in this life. I can see 3 group of people, those who work very hard, those who work hard so they do have to work and the those who depend on others to work. I have been watching these things for while now. Remember when we were in school there were those who work very hard to become successful and those who could care less.Well those latter group of people are the smart ones. They wasted time, did what they wanted , while the rest of us sacrificed. Now those people get free money from the government,pay virtually no taxes, obtain food cards, and in some cases government provides housing, calling it low income bracket housing projects.But the rest of us have to work everyday in rain ,sleet or snow,only 2 weeks holiday and pay taxes on everything. We should of wizened up earlier and asked our self why work at all. The government will take care of us, right!!!

It's that thinking that becomes the fall of mankind. Why work? Money should not be the main concern of working. It is living in working that must be concerned with. Many people don't get that concept that's why they end up whining and complaining about work. The really essence of having to work is fulfillment, and improving oneself. If your work does not provide you with that, then look for the the thing or work that can provide you that. Many people consider their jobs as work because they don't like it. That's the problem. An of course, people that depend on other people are the ones who are stupid. They don't get to experience different things and are far behind the human improvement of a lot of aspects in life. They are the ones who don't achieve a thing and never makes a difference. I would never want to be like such individuals.

Money should not be the main focus! What the hell are you talking about. Do you really think people just want to go and work even if it is something they like doing, for free! Of course not. Even in the ancient days they worked maybe not for money but just to survive, I am simply stating that there are individual who are just enjoying working the system.

You have your point regarding individuals trying to work the system through. However, in my opinion, those who work the system should not be envied. They are not improving and will never have fulfillment in life. That is my point. So I am detesting the notion of and the subtle point of what you have started discussing. It seems in the post that such individuals working the system are far better out compared to those who are working. That is not the case if those working are fulfilled with their kind of work. That is the case if they are are thinking work as purely work at all.

I get government benefits, but I am self-employed as writer. I didn't work at first because it meant I would lose Medicaid, which means I would die or end up in a nursing (neither of which are an option for me).
I'll have you know that all the time I couldn't work, I was advocating for a change in the law. When the law changed in 2007, I got a job and filed my first taxes. One should be careful not to pigeonhole people just because they get certain services and benefits.

Hi today the people who are on
Some kind of program are not lazy
example if you shop the malls big box stores discount stores craft stores club stores
Most of the people are on food stamps
the jobs are part time no benefits.
Depending on state city town if you are
Able body healthty you got to prove you
Are working or looking for work.
The are non management retail/fast food
Jobs I'm talking about.you just can not
Quit a job and think you get help right away
Yes there is a few lazy one out there but most
People who have help have some kind of part time job.

Government aid to them is good is bad to say,if you don't save,these people had not a good thing,maybe in everyone's will be lost,save only let them become parasites,even some people are not willing to go to work,waiting for help from the government.I don't konw.Is it right??
