Is Islam a Religion of People who Want to Die? or More to Live Well?

I doubt it, but the question came to mind when I rehd Quran 003.102 which says "O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah with the care which is due to Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims." It's really easy to mistake that for 'suicide-bomber instructions,' but I think what it's really saying with the words "unless you are Muslims" is 'unless the will of G-d so-directs you and you are in total submission to that will.' According to Christians, the will of G-d is 'that we have life and that we have it more-abundantly.' I hope that's not to say that "if we can't have more abundance, we ought to no-longer live." I hope that's also G-d's will according to Muslims. Is it?

Islam is All about how to live a decent life with obedience to God's Law, the verse you cited is telling Muslims to keep themselves in the state of submission to the will of God (Islam) till the end of their life, it is also mentioned in the verse 3:132 to keep submission to the end to avoid the destiny of king Solomon mentioned in 1 Kings 11:1-10 as example.

The verse in question is telling the believers to always be submissive to Allah and live a righteous life so whenever the time to depart this world comes they will be on the best of their faith.
