I've always wanted to travel to places not everyone gets the chance to travel to. Such places would be Africa, I've seen so much discovery and animal planet, that I would love To go on a safari and watch all those predators prey on Their Meals in order. To balance the food Chain out on the wild. Has anyone gone or ever dreamed of such high a trip out their? Feel Free To post any comments on this discussion. Thanks.

When I was a student at university I went to Kenya in one of the summer holidays. I booked a flight with 14 nights accommodation at a palm fringed beach. During the cheap holiday I took a train to Nairobi and then went on a cheap 5 day safari. This was the cheapest possible way to go on a safari. I saw lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants and a leopard. The leopard was asleep in a tree and he was hard to see.
When my disabled son was 20 months old I took him on a trip to Cape Town and the Garden Route in South Africa. We were able to go to a three hour safari at a game reserve. It was lovely because that area didn't have malaria. In Kenya there is the risk of malaria if bitten by an infected mosquito. I love seeing wild animals. I Kenya I visited Masai Mara and a lake with flamingos. From Kenya I brought back home a wooden giraffe.

Travelling is a hobby of mine, yet an expensive one. I enjoy going to exotic destinations, since i want to experience the different lifestyles and cultures.
I even went and climber mount Kilimnajaro :) (A recommended experience).

The only part of Africa that I have visited was Morocco in the North West. Of course this is a lot different to the more rural areas.
I have always been interested in travelling to unusual places, although I did just the opposite and travelled to Siberia in the Soviet Union.
