A Fart Before Leaving...

Just now, I am laying here in bed and my husband got up to go pee. Just before he pulled back the covers and got up he did a little "fart" before getting up!! I can't believe he just did that! That was just nasty. Then when he got back in bed he got all comfy and then farted two more times in his sleep! So now I'm laying here, wide awake, listening to him farting and snoring! Oh well, who needs sleep? It's overrated anyways! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Unavoidably, it really happens and sometimes it could irritate us or just let it pass. I'm ok with the farting sounds but when it smells...I just couldn't take it that I had to say something. Hope you'll be able to sleep. Sweet dreams.

You're right! It sometimes ruin my day especially if I'm about to leave the house all dressed up and think that the smell could somehow seep in through my clothes. hahaha! On the other hand, it could sometimes the start of a playful bantering between me and my nieces.

Sounds like my husband. But I swear he wasn't like that when we were still dating haha! Sometimes when we were playing around, he would even pull the covers over my head and he would fart inside the covers and he will just pin me down. I almost cried! But now, I know better than to snivel and be the loser, I fight back with an "arsenal" of my own, haha!

All that hot air has to escape somehow. What did you feed him last night. For me, it was the cat that got me up at 4:30. That is my usual time, approximately, to get up for work, but this is Saturday and I am working a different job today. Then my leg got a charlie horse and I got hungry, so I am up as well. This is about the time I had planned to sleep in to.

Hey, Gardengerty, have you noticed that all the complaints here are about men farting? I guess none of these women ever have to fart?

Boy oh boy did you bring back memories! Well, except that my husband farted every single night (still does) at least a half-dozen times and a lot of them were what I called "the 10-seconders" because they'd last at least 10 seconds each. Many times I've commented that having that much gas inside his body HAS to hurt... BAD! There were many nights when I had to open a window or die from methane gas poisoning. He also snores... LOUDLY! He also has sleep apnea and would often "snort" himself awake after he had stopped breathing for a few seconds. Of course, he'd also snort ME awake. So, I no longer sleep with him. I have my own bedroom because it was either move to my own bedroom or lose my sanity from lack of sleep. It's funny, now that I think back, that he never farted while we were just dating (okay, he never farted within my hearing range). Marriage changes men. LOL

Is is sad that she is doing this. I can understand that the computer is the main reason behind it. I must tell you to vanish the computer somewhere for some time. Do not give it to her. She must do other things apart from games and tv. I hope you can do that. You can tell her someone stole the computer and you can't afford to buy another one. I hope then she will communicate and become normal ..Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..

I don't know how this applies to the subject being discussed. Did you accidentally post it in the wrong discussion or is it meant to be funny? If it is meant to be funny I am afraid I missed the joke. Can you explain please?

my husband also do that fart thing that was every time we are in bed not only once but twice. then he suddenly hold the fart and throw it to my face so i immediately stand up and run. Sometimes he fart near the electric fan for us to smell and when we reacted that he fart he simply says "your mouth is much nearer to your nose so its your mouth that stinks" we just laugh. ^_^

I can't decide if that was : too much information or : a few good reasons to not be married and living alone.

My 12 year old does things like that. He thinks it is funny to stop on his way past you and fart. Heck guys I used to work with would do the same thing. They called it "crop dusting".

Farting, as you so indelicately put it, is a natural body function designed to release pressure on the digestive tract. If you prevent your body from releasing this pressure you run the risk of making yourself sick. While it is impolite to do this in public doing it in the privacy of your own home should not be looked down upon. Burn some incense and wear some ear plugs so it doesn't disturb your sleep.

As much as passing gas is disgusting, I think that you should take it as a compliment that your husband is comfortable enough with you to be able to fart in front of you. You know there are a lot of people that aren't comfortable enough with their partner that they always feel like they have to leave the room and such when they need to pass gas. It is clear that this is not the way that your husband feels.

My husband does that all the time to me. He does not think twice about it at all. It is an every day thing for my husband, lol. It is more of a guy thing to do things like that...

I absolutely cannot stand it when a man passes gas in front of me. I find it rude and extremely disgusting. Even if he was comfortable around me I still want him to act like a gentleman around me. If he's doing it his sleep while I would not like it I'd understand but while he's awake is not cool. I hope he's at least saying excuse me.

Well, husbands and wives are like that comfy with each other. They fart unabashedly whenever they are by themselves. When my husband farts , i would complain and he would joke " Just sniff it ! " And to that i would tickle him . And he would act like catching his fart with his hand and put it in my nose and i will be rolling in bed laughing to avoid it!

it's normal to fart but "in the right place" :D but in your situation i think you need some mask to wear on. lol then happy sleeping!
