Do you have any special plans for the day?

Today we are going to go out to eat lunch,watch a movie and then go over to my in laws. My grandmother in law will be watching our daughter so after our date we will go over there and spend a little time with them. I'm looking forward to it. We don't get to go out that often since we have been trying to catch since we moved and now they live a lot further away.

I planned on making something nice to eat but instead by accident sliced my finger open, not so great.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. It is awful when we have something planned and then something like that happens. I know when we moved into our new place with the different stove I burned myself. I was not to happy about that and now I will have a scar.

I think I just had a series of bad days both at home and at work, after I cut my finger and it stopped bleeding though things started to get better. I had a much more productive day today though.

Sounds great! My two kids are off at friends' houses so we have a few hours to ourselves too--and we are doing yardwork! 
Oh well. it is the first nice day since Hurricane Sandy and Winter Storm Athena, and we really need to get the broken branches picked up and some of the plants re-planted. I guess any time alone with your husband is "special" but I kind of wish we were doing what you are doing! Have a great "date"!

Thanks, it did turn out well. It went by so fast though. Time always flies when you are enjoying yourself. I hope that you both were able to get a lot done with your yard. Hopefully after things settle down you can go out on a date.
