We could feel the boredom once we realize that everything has been like a routine and could not find ourselves enjoying with what we do. I think you can do a lot more and give a better quality of work if you still feel excited to work with that company and would still feel happy with the kind of work that you have. That would surely make you more productive. If you feel you have lost that energy toward your present work then it is time to move on.
You say you are tired of going all over again with the application process. But that is something that you really have to deal with if you want to get out of your present job. Maybe you just need a break. Take a vacation and recharge yourself. That is just what you might need.

I have been to a similar situation when I was dragging myself to work not because of boredom but stress. The reason I stayed was due to financial constraints. I was fearful of losing a job because of my financial responsibilities but I finally made up my mind and resigned. Finances and the difficulty of landing another job is what often make us think twice over resigning but oftentimes, there is no other better alternative than resign. I am glad I did because I now have this online job that is less stressing though I also need to make efforts to earn well. Sometimes, we need to make decisions after weighing everything else.

I know how you feel...at least when it comes to the application process. And although I certainly wasn't bored at work, I knew that a change was needed...mostly due to financial reasons. It's because of that (and my family, of course), that I kept pursuing the application process. Good thing too, because I just got hired on by a much better job.
If you feel you should stay at your job, then stay. Otherwise don't give up and keep on applying. After all, it's the first step to making things happen...if you want to make them happen, that is.
Good luck whatever you decide.
Happy mylotting!

To many people, routine becomes very boring because of that very reason. It's best to have something to motivate you, something to look forward to. It also helps to stay positive at all times, although that one is truly easier said than done. Also put into consideration that many people would do so much to have the job you so feel tired about, and not all of these people even are capable of. Jobs are hard to come by now in this very difficult time and I suggest that you hold on to it until you find something better or far more worthwhile.

I've been in that situation two years ago then one day I decided that I'll speak with my supervisor and gave her my resignation papers. It's quite sad knowing that I won't be able to see my colleagues everyday but it gave me the feeling of freedom that I can do whatever my heart desires. That feeling only lasted for months and I find myself doing nothing and I started to feel very unproductive so I decided to look for a job again but it wasn't that easy. I ended up with a totally different line of work that is a first for me. I struggled at first and up until now, I'm still learning the ropes of everything. Hope you'll find the right job for you. Good luck.

I am also in that situation. I have been in the company for almost two years now and I am so bored in what I am doing. It's already part of my daily routine. And I want to vomit everyday doing the same thing. It's good that there is mylot. I make use of this site everytime that I felt like tired doing the job just to divert attention.I am happy to this site. I have been here for four years and I am glad that I am earning not only cash but also friends from different countries with different cultures and beliefs.
