Hello Dear Suzieqmom! I fully agree with your views. I know that by using the search engine of this site we can make some extra cents. We can search web, discussions, tasks, photos and messages by using this search engine. I have received my rewards for searching several times so far. The reward I received ranged from 17 to 23 cents at a time. This is an excellent feature on this site to make some extra cents. But then there’s word of caution! Please remember this feature shouldn’t be misused. If it is felt that this feature is misused ten the member will receive a caution which will warn him/her not to misuse the site. So far I never received such caution notice but I know some people on this site have received it. I think repeatedly using this engine just to make some cents, or opening multiple windows and using this search engine in all the windows to increase the participation may amount to misuse and members can get warning for this. Thanks a lot for the discussion I enjoyed participating in it!

I very much agree, it is a great thing indeed, and I would also really encourage people to do that. I do it myself, and you find a lot of interesting discussions that way. And who cares if they are kind of old? Some old discussions can need an update still!

This is true! I have been rewarded twice already just be searching using myLot. At first, I receive $0.03 and then $0.10! That's additional $.13 in just one day! And ever since, i have been using the search field here to search for anything and everything under the sun and for searching about topics too!

I have had a few small amounts from searching discussions myself. This is excellent because not only does it help me to locate discussions of interest, but does offer some small remuneration at the same time. I often use searches because discussions disappear from the first page of recent ones very quickly, so apart from the interests section it offers a very good way of locating those which may be a few months old.

Web searches are (probably) a BIGGER win for everyone, since they increase the amount of money myLot-admin can distribute among all the members!

Hi Suzie! Yes, I also do that and I am glad that there are instances that I am getting some rewards. Doing some research before starting a discussion is also a big help to avoid duplication of discussions which can be a cause that our post would be deleted. It is a good practice for everyone. Hi there! Thanks a bunch for sharing this information with us. A lot of newbies here, like myself, thought that earning is just limited to participating in discussions and sharing photos. But little do we know we can still earn for searching discussions. To be honest, I'm really enjoying mylot and forget that I can also earn here. I kind of get hooked up in discussions.
