Is Fashions and Design An Option??

Always trying to create something unique and fashionable.
Right from the onset i have wanted to be a designer, things about fashions and designers interest me intrigued me so much and i have alot of catalogs on fashions and designs.
Although i don't know how to use sew machine but i can sketch new fashionable things that are not into existence mainly on clothes.
Is fashion and design an option? If yes
what does it take to be a fashion and designer???

I do a search online. There are many companies out there that might want to buy your ideas. I have a good friend in the usa who sells here ideas like yours to companies. Give it a try.

That sounds like good advice, but I have always wondered what is to prevent someone from 'stealing' ideas...or is it just a risk one takes knowing they can come up with more ideas?
I have thought the same about patent ideas...seems they too would be easy to steal...
