We all know Book Of Deuteronomy is regarding the law of the Jews written by Moses. The Jews really try to stay within the law written here. But that is not the case for us Christian even though it was written and part of our Holy Bible.
During Jesus time, He received a lot of question regarding the law which was written and even His disciple didn't follow some of it and Jesus say they didn't do anything wrong.
One word really strike me and it is from Jesus is this. It is regarding the divorce. Matthew Chapter 19: 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.
There are even few ritual which Christian not required to follow.
Give your view regarding this matter and to make it clear for our understanding.

There are obvious reasons why divorce is seen as negative - divorce is the same as lying because a couple make a promise before God to stay together in sickness and in health and so on...
On the other hand, you have to be pragmatic and recognise that relationships will break down because we are human, and forcing people to remain married against their will is not sustainable.
If we were sinless, there would be no need for divorce, the Law was given primarily to demonstrate that we cannot keep it! Hence we require Jesus' sacrifice to be saved. Look at the first commandment: "You shall have no other gods before me." - it's the very first commandment, and we might skim over it and say, 'I don't worship other Gods', but we do, we worship ourselves, our comforts and our possessions - we put ourselves first almost every time. Who can say "I put God first in everything I do.."? I wouldn't dream of claiming even to be able to keep this, the very first commandment.
Christians are not called to follow Laws, since they are saved by grace, but they are called to please God by carrying out his will. This is not about a list of Laws, but about praying to discern God's will and carrying it out. I can tell you that it is not God's will for people to get divorced, but equally it is not God's will that people be trapped in miserable marriages.
