hey, guys the company that I work in does not consider Indian Holidays. Its a multinational software firm. we design and support software for US. Diwali is around the corner, mom wants me to take her out for shopping, help discarding unwanted things in house. we worship Goddess Laxmi on the Diwali eve, which is very important. got to visit friends and family to distribute sweets. we have already been warned that if we do not report to work on any given day this week, we would be penalized heavily. what can I do ? and the funny thing is although we for for US, we do not get vacation even during Christmas. I feel this is unfair
