Why do you let your dogs lick your faces?

I don't think it is disgusting at all. Yet, if you had asked me the same thing 15 years ago, maybe my answer would have been different. Why do you think it is disgusting? Do you accept your friends/family to kiss you on your cheeks? Do you accept your girlfriend to kiss you on your lips? Or that is disgusting, too?

When I heard about a female colleague that had been caught under her fat and ugly boss's desk doing... you know what, I thought: that was gross! I wonder if she has the same opinion... I've heard many children saying about two adults kissing: "that's disgusting!". Yet when they grew up, they changed their perspective. You think dogs licking their owners' faces is disgusting. I think it isn't. A dog's lick on your cheek can be dozens times less dangerous (if we think about the germs that could reach your skin) then the moment when you wipe your sweat from your forehead in a hot summer day, while you're on a bus. You think a dog licking his master in(?) the mouth is disgusting. I don't know if it is disgusting or not, but I am sure it isn't something hygienic at all. I wouldn't let my dog do that to me. Tell me, have you ever had a dog?

Hello serg. I do like my pets, two dogs and two cats and a bird. Now there is one thing I can't stand and that is to have one of them lick me even on the hands. I don't like the way it feels beside the fact that they may have just licked their behinds. Since cats and dogs do like in very germy places I don't understand how any one could allow their pets to lick them in the face let alone the mouth. Mine are taught to not lick.

I don't think it's disgusting when dogs licks their owners face. I let my dog lick my cheeks only. Now I think it is disgusting if owners let their dogs lick their mouths. My dog have licked my mouth before by accident when I get home since she gets so excited that I'm back home and starts jumping at me that I get a bad timing where her tongue licked my mouth. I quickly brush my teeth and use mouth wash since I think that is gross. I don't have a problem being licked on my face, but I do on my mouth.

On the face, I have no problem with it. I'm not a germophobe. But on the mouth, it's gross, because it could even get into the throat... that I wouldn't like.

Hi there. I am asking myself too if why some people let their pet lick on their faces, worst, in their mouth. But I have let my dog lick just my cheeks. I let him when he just finished taking his bath. It was not so disgusting after all because I know that he doesn't have a virus and I know him so well. But I never attempted to let him lick my lips. NEVER!!!
