Music and personality

Is that true? What if I dont have music genre that I particularly like. I mean, I like any kind of musics. Then how can you decide what kind of personality you are?

I suppose that's true. The type of music one likes reflects the mentality in some ways. My favorite music is classical music, Chopin, Mozart, etc. What is your favorite type of music ?

i think that is true... you can relate the music and lyrics you love the most... people have different type of music.. they boring bcoz they dont want your type of music and they dint relate to that...

True that the music that you like depicts the personality that you are inside deep down. There are people who fake themselves calling that they are very cool and all but the music that they listen will be all pathetic one's you know that sort which bores you all the way! There we could find how boring a person could be in real. A person who is all in happy music is a sort of an happy go lucky person and the person who is all into pathos will be a person who has been hurt and learnt a lot in life and something inside him/her is killing him/her every moment from inside. Their outer appearance may seem that they are the most happiest people in this world, but these songs and music that they listen to will tell their actual story!

I'm not sure. Everyone has the same associations with the same music. Quality pop I find touching and deep (I'm not talking about autotuned stuff, but more vocal, underrated kind of pop), but some find cliché and stupid and careless. Country for some people is boring, for some people, it's positively simple and heartfelt. Punk-rock for some is unique, non-conformist and rebellious, for some people it's nuisance...

It depends how you see music I think,some people do literally live for the music they sing or listen to,just look at the rockers connection with bike gangs and rappers involvement in street gangs or church music for a religious life. I do not think it is a fact but a lot of the time personality and music do go hand in hand.

People have many interests and likes but I don't think one particular area of interest like music can define one's personality. I like many kinds of music myself from pop, to rock, to classical and country. These are all so varied and different so how does that define my personality? :) Also, when people tell you you are boring because of the kind of music you prefer, that just shows that they think you have to like THEIR kind of music to be interesting to them. And that is not your concern at all. Do not think that you are boring just because other people say so. :)
