Do you have a "Motto" in mylot?

yes, i have a motto here and in fact, i made a topic out of it and wrote this to some of my reply comments if appropriate with the gist. and that one is learn, earn and enjoy! well, while doing what is to do in here, we do learn because we are reading different story of lives, happenings in the community, knowing various cultures and behaviours or each and etc. and while responding and posting your own discussion, you will get paid and then all of it must be enjoyable and worth spending your time with. so mine again is: LEARN, EARN AND ENJOY! hope you do.... thanks :)

If there is one best motto that I can remember with mylot is the saying "Slowly but surely". DO you agree?

My motto is "The sun should not rise on a parturient." It means the woman in labor should deliver before 24 hours or else she should be in difficult labor and must undergo cesarean delivery

Motto? Will you consider my definition a motto? I always define mylot as - Mylot is my shock-absorber and my online diary.

Wow, having a motto here in mylot would be challenging as well, not only in our own business, family, or in our general life. I admire you for having such a good motto of fighting those negative habits or practices. I know you can and will succeed as long as you persist and develop the passionate discipline to make it happen. I believe that my motto would be the same, like in other areas of my life. I had a life's purpose/motto since a year ago. I realize that for me, to be a blessing to others as I give something of value would be great. I can adopt it here as well: being a blessing to others.

I certainly have and it has been the same one since I registered with Mylot. Mine is actually a personalised variation on a well known quote by the French philosopher René Descartes and reads: "I do not think * Therefore I am not".

Hello Dear LertanKnight, Meeting you after so many years! How are you? Coming to the discussion, I am a man from horseracing industry. I am a Stud Vet where we breed the thoroughbred for the purpose of racing. In racing e want our horse should be steady and maintain its position in the race just behind the winning bunch till it approaches the final furlong and in final furlong he must incorporate full strength into the strides to win the race like a flash! I firmly believe this concept in my life and that is why My Motto on Mylot is 'Slow and Steady Wins the Race’! I have not changed this Motto so far! You made me think on this one since I started here I just post and post and does not really any motto why I am here. I just enjoyed this site over the years and the payment was just a bonus for me. I hope I can make my own soon.

For me it would be "be more tolerant" because we come from different backgrounds and have different viewpoints. We can always make members agree with us all the time as we have different experiences that shaped us.

hi, my motto here is "never give up" because we all know that its really hard to earn money here,we need some effort to reach our payout,and that motto is really fit for me so even how hard for me to find time for this site i still have time to participate.

I learn many things since I came to myLot; but the one saying that stick with me since the first time I read it here is: "I type, I earn; you type, you earn"... Simple reminder to myself why I don't earn much when I start reading too much here. And effective explanation to new users who wrongly think more responses received = more earning.

Respect begets respect - is my motto here in myLot. I'm doing my best to be respectful to everybody at all times. I admit that I criticize once or twice here, but I regret it. I learned my lesson. This also applies to my everyday life. I hope, myLotters would find in their hearts to be respectful amidst the indifferences of opinions or being pushed too hard. Thanks

Hi LK Seems a nice motto for you - "fight while you can" Actually I do appreciate such a great thought just because life is about fighting and learning and standing up straight even if you have lost a battle. for me, I have a small goal only - not only here at MyLot but also in my real life - I try to bring smile on at least one face each day. It has helped me become a better person. Apart from that the only other goal has been to keep my wife happy. I know I have many issues with me - my ill health and a non-regular work that I do from home. So I try my best to make life easy for my love and do help her with almost all her daily chores whenever she is here

hmm I never thought of any motto till now. But after reading the responses ,i started thinking why shouldn't i have one. But didn't really decide what should i have.

mm, MOTTO in my profile, well, i dont think i have one. I don't remember whether i have it or not. Will check it out myself once i finish responding to this discussion. But if you ask me about the motto of my life off Mylot, then it is always, have faith and that faith will always take you closer to what you want. There is another quote also which I got it from a book and i will always remember that book when I am in depression or something about anything in my life! It goes this way! "When you desire for something, the whole universe and the nature will help you initially, which is called as the beginner's luck! But later on, you will be tested time and again regarding the same thing which is left to you whether you really want it or not! If you really are that desperate enough and determinate to get it, then you will have to work hard for it else, the universe will take you away from that or rather, you will by yourself forget it and move on with your life, which is simply, you are lost in the search of something else, when what you want actually will be forgotten by your ownself! " The phrases are not the same, but that is what they mean. That is why I never give up on my battle with anything and I will never lose faith on what I really want. When I won't give up on that faith, then the universe itself will get me to where I have to be and what I need to get!

My mottos are the "Keep calm and..." phrases. Because they are reminding us to enjoy our hobbies and loves, and not to worry about life. You know, it vcan be continued in any way... like Keep calm and mylot :D... or Keep calm and collect stamps... or Keep calm and write novels. I can always make up one which reflects on my latest craze :D.
