I have seen The Arabic people buying olives from super markets always When i was in Dubai. But i really don't know whether it is a fruit or vegetable?I guess it must be a fruit .However I have heard that Olive makes you healthy and more benefits like what it makes your skin color nicer. I can trust it because I have seen Arabic people, Specially Lebanese and Moroccans ladies have got very beautiful skin color. That was ivory color.

Definitely vegetable. Fruit: "The SWEET and fleshy product of a tree or other plant that contains seed and can be eaten as food." Olive is not sweet and is not treated or classified as fruit hence it is used as a accompaniment to salads mainly. Unless we assume that the vegetables are fruits too.

Fruits aren't necessarily sweet.

I was referring to the culinary sense of these words. The assessment that the olive is a fruit because of the kernel is correct but what is the watermelon then?

Biologically it is a fruit, calling it a vegetable is like calling a whale a fish all the best, urban
