just wondering how to get my rank up

Basically your question already answered by 3honor but in short, to make our rank up we must: 1. We must participate in discussions and don't forget to rate others 2. When we post something (discussion or just comment), post something which related to topic 3. Don't break any guidelines ... Happy lotters ...

You need to participate more and hope more people give you a plus. The more active you are the better it is to increase the ranking. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..

We need to write a lot of good discussions and if you see to the left of your discussion it says "please be as descriptive as possible which means write a lot in your discussions. So many people ask one line questions and they usually get deleted. The same is true for responding. You have to make it as long as you can and interesting. I think responding to discussions is the easiest way...just keep writing! Good luck!

It looks to me like everyone has given you a lot of good responses and there isn't a lot more that I can say. Just keep posting and having fun and before you know it, you will be having fun and not even realize how well you are doing!

On myLot there are 3 things and I think you are confusing them: - Reputation is the number in your star - User rating is the number in brackets beside your username - Interest ranking which appears beside your username in every interest that you have added. If you are concerned about using the smilies then your user rating ahs to reach 200. It will increase for most, but not all, of your activities. That number is not related to earnings at all. It increases when you start a new topic for discussion (after it receives 2 responses or 2 respoonse + 2 comment), when you respond and/or comment for the first time on a discussion started by others. If you are active then it will gradually reach 200 so that too can use the smilies. They are under 'mylot code' to the left of the box where you type.

Hello Passion, The only way to get your rating up is to write quality responses/comments and start quality discussions so that other users may rate you +ve. Read guidelines carefully and try not break them you will find your rating goes up gradually.

hi passion4fassion hi are you talking rating as in reputation and stars? first you have to have a star then we all are supposed to rate all discussions either plu s for good or minus if its mean or insulting or hit the report button to report it if its truly insulting. If you mean the activity number after your name just spend a little more time here and be really active, participate, respond to other discussions, make your own and comment back to the responses you get.comment on comments kibitz and have fun here then you will relax and hav fun and earn too. read all the guidelines and the FAQ's too really as they will help you to know how to use mylot and earn and have fun too.

you need to be active and participate in discussions as much as you can, and make them quality, as that is what mylot is looking for, not quantity. Your discussions and or comments to discussions, need to have substance. Now they don't have to be a mile long, but you should refrain from one sentence discussions or comments. your discussions and comments are rated by other users, and if you get positive ratings, then your rank will go up, but negative ones will bring it down. It took awhile for mine to get where it is, but I just kept going, and I finally made it. I hope that this was helpful so that you understand how to bring your rank up.
