The 1980s: Good Music, Good Movies, Good Times

Compared to the pop culture of today, the 1980s blows it all away! I was just a small kid in the 80s, but I loved every minute of that time. The music was so solid, well written and performed by real musicians. The movies were fresh, exciting, and highly entertaining, and there was a feeling in the air that this world was a great place. Nowadays, things are great, but it's not the same. Music is manufactured by corporations and they pick a person to put up as a singing star, the movies are mostly, rehashed stuff from the 1990s, television seems to be the only bright spot. The best thing about our present culture is the internet. We can have access to the whole world through the internet and that's the one saving grace in this new century.
