Could not access my folder

I have a folder in my local drive that I couldn't access anymore. When I click on the folder, it said "access denied". Maybe the IT administrator of the company I worked in blocked me from accessing that folder or maybe it's just a virus. I tried all the tricks google suggested but no one work. I'm afraid to contact our company's IT because the folder contained non work related e-books which I copied from my friends file. Is there any way I could access it again by hacking into it? Could you please help me. Hackers please?

If it's on a work computer, I'd say you've been caught and I would forget about the folder. Unless of course you are allowed to use the work computers for personal use, if so, ask the IT guys.
Whatever you do, don't make things worse by enlisting the aid of a hacker. Just forget about it and consider yourself as being warned.
