Please guide to buy a new laptop

I want to buy a new laptop for me. This laptop, I will use mainly for playing games,browsing Internet and for some study purpose also. I don't know anything about the laptop configuration. So it would be better if you suggest me my laptops configuration as per my needs. And also it should be affordable in my basket also. My target price is 30k. With the he;p of this laptop I just want to have some timepass like playing games and Internet browsing especially Mylotting.

30k dollar? With this price, you can buy anything. If you play very advanced games, you'd better purchase one with high end video card. I think 5-6k would be enough.

Sorry friend, I forgot to mention that I am from India and the amount that targeted is in Indian rupees. That is 30,000 INR

I would recommend you to buy 'dell inspiron 15r' Because it suits all your needs and at your budget. if you want to play big games like battlefield need for speed then you select a model of inspiron 15r with 1 gb graphics.

I have heard that Toshiba will provide the same configuration with less amount. Therfore my doubt is that whether it would be a better option for me. What about other manufacturers like Lennovo and Acer?

You can try some brands featuring game specialize. Like ASUS, Toshiba, etc. But, if you wanna low price, i suggest to buy a second hand that's still in good condition. You can find it on any online shop, decide it and happy gaming.

the first thing you need to do before you buy a laptop is first,you must check the specifications of the laptop,the processor,its speed,harddisk,ram,videocard,etc. and the cost if it is satified with the specifications,if you are looking for a laptop which you will use in gaming,find the laptop with a video card that can accelerate 2d and 3d graphics, if you want a laptop that can make multitasking,try to get i-series processor,with at least 2gig ram,im sure you can open lot of applicaions :)
