Who among you are interested on souvenirs from countries or where you have travelled from?
One of the best thing I have are these stuff toys (kangaroo and koala bear). It reminds me of my travel to Australia to meet my fiance there.
I had a few small key chains of koala bears as well from my ex-boyfriend who works as a pilot in Singapore Airlines. Every-time he travels to australia he gives me something as a souvenir.
I lost my baby koala stuff toys when I was in my hospital bed. I blamed the nurses because it was lost. I lost the one with singapore air print, I took it all with me while im in the hospital. It gives me joy when I have them. However, my favorite one was lost now I know it is a sign that my ex is not meant for me.

I love visiting different countries and since I was 18 years old I have been collecting costume dolls. I have two shelves with them on it is glass case bookcase. The best one it made out of wood and she came from Romania. On my last trip I got several different dolls from a craft place in Chile.
I collect coins, low value back notes and postcards got in the destinations that I have been to. In the Cook Islands I got a 3 dollar note and a triangular coin. Wow! I also collect fridge magnets which I put on my fridge door. I have collected a shelf of miniature houses. One is Swiss cottage that plays music and the nicest is a beach house from Samoa.
I liked hearing about your souvenirs and it was a shame you lost your best one. Sadly on my way home from Colombia I lost a dolphin bracelet.

Oh, I love buying souvenirs to remind me of trips. I love memories, and I get attached to items really easily. I usually buy stuff that reminds me of the place, like art items... like little jugs and ornaments with local folk designs, evil eye bracelet from Greece, "magic lamp" from Egypt...

Whenever we travel, my favorite souvenir are key chains. At first I think it's because they're convenient and easy to carry while traveling. But lately, when I look back to the stuff I bought, it's like looking back in time on how keychains evolved from this style and design to something more complicated or sturdier and even more polished. And since all of us have keys, I am sure that my friends will appreciate an extra key chain.

I started collecting magnets for refrigirator on my recent travel. I bought about five magnets to remind me of the place I've been to. I know how it feels when you lost something that was given by a special person. You can't avoid thinking that maybe it is a sign that you're not meant to be. But don't worry, the koala bear may be lost, but not the feeling in your heart. Maybe you will have a chance next time. By the way, you really have a nice collection but I think collecting koala bears is difficult as not all countries have them as souvenirs.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to know that u love to collect souvenirs like me from different countries. Even i love collecting souvenirs from different countries just as i have got souvenirs from Paris and Switzerland. Now its great that your boyfriend helps u in getting souvenirs and i know what feelings might have run through your mind when you got the lost souvenirs. Now u can demand many souvenirs from your boyfriend if he ever goes to any other country.
