When i was traveling back to my base town in my country in a bus, we saw some people that went for convention, so one of the passenger that sat beside me was complaining bitterly that going to church is not a criteria of being righteous.
Reason most people that claim the know God does not keep laws of God 'remember the sabat day and keep it holy' that they don't observe it and churches are now used for business .
He said that in some countries CATHEDRAL CHURCHES are put for sale......
That churches are being trade for money: is it true?
How do you rate churches in your country??????

Going to church alone will not make us righteous. In fact more people are righteous than who those who go to church regularly, if you want to become righteous you should obey God's laws.

hi uche,
I am not a church goer actually but what I observed are some people who goes to church claimed themselves as the righteous one that they will be save in judgement day because they are close to God, some of them are gossipers, some youngster goes to church to show off their new clothes or to date someone this are my observation.

It is impossible for a church or any house of worship to make one righteous. It is the ACTIONS of a human that make him/her righteous.
Any religeous building can be sold. When sold it is no longer a house of worship, but just a building. An imanimate object is not holy or sacred. People through their selfless actions can become holy.
