I am asking this because I have 6 bottles of 5 gallons each in my house right now. There are only three of us using this and it's going to take quite a long time consume these so many gallons of water. You see this is what happened. When we almost ran out of water, I texted our mineral water supplier did not reply. The last bottle was almost drained so I tried many times more to contact him but still no reply. It so happened that a nearby water station dropped by the house and made an offer which is cheaper than my supplier. So I agreed to have him deliver 3 5-gallon bottles of water. Later that day, I was not home, my original supply came to deliver and just left the bottles in the house. When I arrived home, there, I saw 3 more 5 gallons of water occupying space. Now I'm worried because we usually consume the 3 5-gallon water in about two months or even more. I wonder of bottled mineral water has an expiration. The bottles are sealed anyway, but I am just worried.

It's normally a year to a year and a half, generally the bottle will have an expiry date on the neck of the bottle. It should be fine and you've got it invade of emergencies.

Wow, thanks Angels. Now I should not be so worried. I didn't know that it has expiry date on the neck of the bottle. I should take a look when I'm done here.

That's okay, I used to work in a shop that's how I know. Hope you managed to find it.

I don't think that you and your family will have trouble getting through them. Bottled water has a long shelf life. Check the Best By date just to be sure, but don't worry if you drink it after!

Bottles of mineral water have not an expiration date, but a best before date -- meaning that you can drink it after -- put by the owner of the spring between 1 and 3 years after it is bottled.

Yeah, Top. Thanks. Three years? Wow, that's long enough.

You looked for it and didn't find it? Water has one year to expire. But if it tastes good and the colour hasn't changed you can drink it. If it is stored correctly it can be used. Especially away from too much sun.

In my office, we consumed a big bottle of water each 10 days. But it is said you'd better drink the water in one week after the bottle unsealed.

Hi cutie Here at our place, the packaged mineral water bottles come with only manufacturing dates printed on them. But it is a norm which we follow (after consulting our doctors) that we dont buy the ones beyond 6 months. Also another thing is that once these are opened, we ensure that we use the water before 24 hours - we have only the 1 litre, 1.5 litre, 2 litre and 5 litre sizes. We normally get the
