Internet shopping or real shopping?

As a woman, honestly speaking, I do not like shopping unless I really need something.
Before I know internet shopping, I went to stores to shop, and bargain with the owners. I enjoyed this process. But later I hate it, because I found that most of the time my price is higher than others:( What to say!
Then I enjoy shop in super market, and nobody bother you around.
Lately I start to shop on internet, which is more convenient, but really cost me a lot of money: on internet, money is just a number, it is totally different feeling. Another problem is: shopping on internet waste more time than real shopping, and you seldom notice it!
What's your shopping habit? Let's share it!

I seldom shop on the net and I only go for other things like kitchen wares.
But never on clothing.
I still prefer to shop clothes, shoes, bags and apparels on malls so I can see the items for real.

I also shop for clothes on internet, and I am satisfied with 70% of them, but sometimes the color is not the right, and sometimes it is not the right size I need.
But I do not like bargaining now, because even I bargained, the price is not lower much.
Nowadays, group procurement is popular, and it is really much cheaper than shopping in the mall. So I recommend it.
Get what I want with less money is better thing:)

My new house is near a underground shopping mall, maybe I will do more real shopping later.
But internet shopping give us more choices, from different place and different styples, right?

Any thing but, we have problem with internet shopping, lot of tensions until the product reach us. So its better to go for real shopping. we can get the right size and color and also no shipping charges.

Haha, it is true, you need to wait, and you are finally relaxed when the goods arrived. Sometimes there is dispute in internet shopping.
But today internet shopping is rather popular now..

I have never shopped on the net simply because I have never got that much trust on any of the sites and the products which is being purchased online. We don't see the product, we never know whether we are getting newer things only or used things, and most importantly, the terms and conditions apply tag on all the products. It is so obvious that none of us read those and who knows, there could be something that we don't want in that. I mean a clause that is not what we want. Once we buy it, we can't argue about it. Once bought is bought and you need to take what is given to you no matter what and in which condition it is in!
But in direct shopping, you will see things and buy only if you feel that you are satisfied with the quality of the product that you want to buy. You said you always end up paying more than others. You could try visiting a couple more shops and find the actual price before buying anything that you want so that you won't be paying more than others.

Not every item can be bought on internet. To go shopping on shoes, clothes, I still need to see the items, and try it. Size of one manufacturing is different than others, even though they are same numbers (like S, M, L, etc). The other thing about internet shopping is the shipping and handling fee. This can really eat up all the savings. I am also cautious about the seller, and their security of payment.
Real stores sometimes have a better sale. Outlet stores are even better. During this Christmas season, there are so many sales going on.
The only thing that I like to buy online are books, and movies from Amazon. The shipping is free if order above $29. Amazon is really good with shipping. I usually receive it within a week.

Buying books from internet is a good idea. I have also bought books from Amazon, and I am going to buy another set of books soon.
Shopping with friends really makes happy and enjoyed time: we can be the friend's "guider" at that time. If you get something you really like, how excited!

I enjoy online shopping because I csan find a lot of great deals, but there is nothing like taking a shopping day with a your friend or mother. I have found that retail therapy is a huge stress reliever.

Thanks for your response. It is true that shopping with friends is happy time. You can judge every clothes and shoes, or something funny, or share things happen in life together, that's always good time for me.
And friend may have snacks together to have more fun.
But sometimes I shop alone to save time. And I can decide all by myself.

Hi,
If I have a lot money to spend, my tendency is to go downtown to buy the things I need. It is convenient, foolproof and fast. I can test the item, eyeball it, and see its performance before buying and I can have it immediately afterwards.
There's no guessing about the quality, no agonizing waits, no customs people who are ready to pounce upon anything that get their fancy. Online shopping is good only for reviews and price comparison, ordering only if the money is intended to be given to charity (that is if the ordered good does not arrive or is the wrong one.)

I actually like the process of shopping in real shops. To look around, wander around in the aisles, touch and smell the products, pay for them with cash... that's a feeling that can't be replaced. But I like Internet shopping, too - but I only use it when something's really-really cheap or when the certain thing I wanna buy is not available anywhere near where I live.
