I have a friend. She is running an NGO. She yet could not receive any grant from any agency. The age of her NGO is about ten years. She is running her programs by her own. She maintained all the paper work in good way. The accounts are properly audited. The organization is registered under society act in 2005 with competent authority. She asked me that she is interested to conduct activities with regard to research work on various topics of rural Indian life. I was finding her outlook was honest and was serious to uplift the Indian rural life. I have no question on her hard working, sincereity and administrative skill. She was looking for national and international grants on her project proposals. She has no such a huge money in her pocket for her NGO. Please help me so I can give her a proper assistance which she is sought from me.

Type the following keywords in the search bar to seek possible financial assistance: * financial grant for an NGO to uplift rural Indian life, or * financial grant from abroad for an NGO to uplift rural Indian life. Choose the financing institution that best fit your need and communicate with it/them for help. I hope this helps!

The only way to raise fund is you have to go to corporates and convince them by showing your proper document, photographs of events and the social work you have done. Many companies both private sector and public sector have a specified fund for social development , you can contact them also for your funding.

I would advise her to: -keep VERY good records of her work: population served, outcomes, tangible results. -contact local government officials and do networking to find some who can give her leads, advice, and advocate for her -conduct an online search of grant proposals -find someone who is skilled/knowledgable in grant writing. This is a unique style of writing and one needs to follow the directions for the proposal EXACTLY as they are described, else it may be thrown out. It is great that the NGO is 10 years old. Some grant applicants have no intentions of starting valid community organizations, but just want to take the money and run! The government has to take many precautions against this, so the steps to achieving the grant are complex. All the best to you and your friend! What types of work is her organization engaged in?

Such a noble act and for sure your friend is rewarded in heaven. Though she needs to be rewarded now too, as I understand. If you have money you can give some to her. You can also make some fund raising campaings or go to schools and talk to the administration or student council. They also have these kinds of projects too. I want to share to you two sites that may help your friend with the grants. If you have time and you are interested go and check these sites. 1. www.ngogrants.com 2. ngo.india.gov/in/auth/default.php Think and validate if these sites really give Grants. Good luck and godbless
