Messi asking his salary is raised..Barcelona had offered him new contract with $10 billion per year..
but the rumour said that Messi wants $15 billion per year..
it`s huge amount..
the salary like that makes Messi is number two of highest salary in footballer..He can below of Samuel Etoo which have salary $20 billion per year..
It makes Barcelona management confuse..They know Messi contribution..but the amount is too much..
Maybe it makes Management of Barcelona worry if someday the rich club like PSG and Manchester city can offer more highest salary for their star...

Did you put the amount wrongly? Billions, not millions? If that is the case, Barcelona should just sell him. I don't think any club could afford him, not even Man City with their petrol money. With this gross amount, all he needs to do is to play for 4-5 seasons and he will be the world richest man.

I think the numbers being quoted above are really ridiculously high numbers. If players are not satisfied with $10 billion a year, they will not be satisfied with $15 billion a year as well. Maybe this is the Ronaldo effect rubbing off on Messi or maybe now that his family is extended with a kid he has extra expenditure to deal with :).
Cheers!

He has had a good salary for assure his son's life. Why does he still want more? I think that only clubs like PSG and Manchester City would be able to pay him.
Ibra is in PSG currently so I think that Messi would absolutely not move to PSG. And he would be only able to move to Manchester City. Or what about Russia? It's also a place to earn much money for a soccer player.
Another possibility is that Messi would move to PSG and Ibra would move out. Anyway I don't think that these 2 would love to be together.
For Barca I think that they should sell Messi. At first they could make so much money by selling him. Additionally, they should try to avoid being dependent to Messi. Messi is gaining fat and I don't know how well he would maintain his performance when he's going to near his 30s. And he would be in conflict with his teammates like Ibra and now Villa.

Come on, how much is enough?
I think it is just a rumor that he wants $15 billion, earning $10 billion or even less than that, he could assure his future, his son's future and maybe his grandsons' future.
Is it worth to pay that huge amount? maybe Barcelona wouldn't be so famous or successfull without Messi, so FCB will pay him.
