Internet Problems

I'm having problems since yesterday I can log in to my yahoo mail and Facebook account.
I already report it to my provider and they said there is no problem in my area.
I called again just now and they told me that some users also has the same problem.
Is anyone here having problems like me?
Luckily that I have myLot and I still have
something to do. And maybe it is also time for me to realize that I should be active
again here and forget other online activity like Facebook

Are you from the Philippines too? I feel bad about our connection and calling their customer hotline can't help. We really don't have a good internet device provider. Here in my town where I live, we only have two provider so we really don't have a choice. :( This poor connection dmpens my online earning activities too.
I hope they will improve their service. Most if not all of us are paying righ

Oh, I am so glad to have read this discussion. I was alarmed just now when I was unable to log-in and access my yahoo mail account. At first I thought it was my internet connection, then after confirming that I was online and not disconnected, I thought "cashgopher" was causing problems so I closed the program, and to my dismay the problem remained, so I came to believe that it was some sort of virus attack. Fortunately, though, I can see now that it is a thing happening to everybody and not just me. Well, I'm not happy about it, just relieved that it wasn't a virus attack. Now, I wonder what has happened, seeing as this post has been nine hours ago, and the problem still exists.

Are you also using smartbro? I ask some of my friends who can access facebook and yahoo mail and their are not a smartbro user. I think the problem is trough Smartbro provider.

Yes finally with my own effort on how to fix it. I just called my provider again for the third time updating my report but it seems I still wait again that's why I find a way to fix it on my own and finally I did.

How are you?
I do not have yahoo mail account, I have my gmail account so am not facing such problem as you have been facing.
Also, I go to FB selectively, therefore I did not notice any problem.
Mylot is fine for me and I only come here to participate in discussions.

It's good for you that you can complain to your internet provider. In my place from where I access the internet it is as slow to just more or less 100 kbs. per second. Uploading and downloading takes time but I have no other options than to enjoy the least there is. By the way this is the Globe Broadband but 3G signal is weak in our area despite a big cellsite tower just a mile overlooking our home.

Hi toyota I think even you are using the stick you can still complain about
your connection since your using their product. But I also heard some friends
who uses Globe and they are all complaining about it.

Don't stop complaining I do it every time I have problems like this I called them twice thrice a day I never give up to call them to make follow ups so they will do their job fast. I'm paying them that's why I need a good service.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, we don't have this kind of problems. May be the problem is in your area alone,. as you mentioned some other people in your area also have the same problem. Hope the service provider will solve this issue soon

Thanks Vid, I hoping that by tomorrow it is already fix for I have many things
to do with my mails. I also have some article to publish on facebook and some other sharing site and I don't access them either.

Nothing irks me as well than a very faulty internet connection whenever I have free time and I want to mylot, or it is my time to chat with my family and friends abroad. Sometimes I would, out of desperation, link my BB to my laptop and use my BIS to connect to the internet. Of course this is only a temporary solution. I would also call my internet provider and I ready myself for being put on hold for a long time or being given a very general and vague reason for my faulty connection. Grrrr!

That's what they done to me just a while ago but since I already experienced this
kind of problems many years ago before calling them I make it sure that I already
done the troubleshooting before calling them so it will not takes too long for me on the phone. I experience one time that my ears are already getting hot on talking to them

I have no complain so far from my provider for more than two years now.
So far my internet speed and connection so satisfying that I have no complain at all.
I can access the internet any day, anytime with no interruption of service. Maybe I am lucky that we're still very few subscriber here in our locality.

I too have the problem, Iam unable to login to my yahoo account.It is better to have patience and wait.
