No way, José!
If you have seen a message like this circulating in Facebook, DO NOT click on it! It is a scam and could allow the people who started it to steal your personal information.
Read the article:
(And, if you are not already subscribed, subscribe to Sophos so that you get to know about things like this before they do you harm!)
Why do you think that it's a good/bad idea that Facebook don't allow us to change the colours of our pages? (Would you REALLY like to have your Timeline in dark blue text on black so that nobody could read it? ... You can be sure that SOME idiot would do it!)
Want to change your Facebook from blue to black? Maybe it's time to exercise a little self-restraint, because scammers are hard at work tricking users into completing their money-making scams.

I am not messing with anything like that. I barely go to Facebook as it is, unless my future daughter in law posts something or I need it for a business purpose.

Facebook...? Sounds familiar. Maybe I have an account. I will check...
Hmmm, if it allows changing text color per post basis, I will definitely use blue on black combination for those weird posts I want to hide from some persons :D Idiot? ok :)
For now facebook already consumes a lot of its users' time, so it's quite good to be unable to change color themes. But I like that here on myLot.

Still trying, I see, (to fly, your avitire) Hang in there and remember winners never quit trying.
Facebook might be ok for some but I do not use it except to stay in contact relatives that don't know how to pick up the phone.

black as in black? as in even the color of the texts are also black? whoa! very sensible. well, come to think of it - how can a facebook user can see the page if all covered with black. even with my deepest curiosity, i would not allow myself to test that. but to be honest, never encountered such chain like that. at least now, i am aware what this all about. thanks for the link also owlwings.

I haven't seen that link although I am getting pretty tired of the adverts that they keep sending me. If it were not for my friends on there I might well go elsewhere. However, the devil you know etc..... I cannot find my was around FB most of the time anyway. Changing the colour of my screen strikes me as the least of my troubles not that I shall be doing it of course.
