Been drinking one cup of green tea a week now. If you remember my salesman gave me free big box of 60 bags. I kind alike it. I used to have a few problems going to the ladies room during the day. I dont anymore. I asked my dr. if the tea could be helping , he said yes. He also said to keep drinking one cup a day. What do you think?

Here is what I think. If it is working for you and your doctor thinks its a good idea the yes, drink at least one cup a day. I might get back into that myself.

Any kind of tea acts as a diuretic. I am not surprised about this. It is good that your doctor knows that you are drinking it and also that sometimes you have trouble.

Green tea has lots of good qualities . I think this is one of the main reasons that so many are drinking it. The diuretic effect I think is personal - some people react differently than others. Coffee does it for me- not green tea. I like the flavored green teas .

Green tea still contains caffeine, and as such is diuretic - makes you urinate more. I actually love green tea. I find it milder than black tea. But I like taking it iced cold.

Green tea has been known to have cancer-fighting agents and it keeps you healthy by flushing out toxins. A word of warning though, though tea has its benefits, never drink it on an empty stomach since it will make stomach lining thin. Cheers to good health!

I think tea does help, and sometimes it will stimulate certain aspects. I drank cranberry tea which helps with the peeing, and clean everything out. I dont drink a lot of tea as I find it's very bland, and I end up putting way too much sugar in it. I usually put peppermint tea in my hot chocolate to help with digestion.

I assume that you mean that you have been drinking a glass of green tea per day rather than per week. It is definitely a good thing! Green tea is full of antioxidants and vitamins that promote well being, weight loss, and cellular support for the body. Plus the caffeine does help with making you pee, and apparently a little goosing to the urinary tract is something that you need. I prefer to make sun tea out of my green tea, it gives me all the green tea goodness and flavor without all of the bite that green tea often has Keep it up! Try to avoid decaffeinated tea of any kind as they normally use formaldehyde (embalming fluid) to remove the caffeine content and of all the types of tea ut there I believe that green tea has the most caffeine content. A littlte caffeine never hurt anyone. I sometimes mix a Crystal Lite energy drink 1/2 with my green tea for a real pick me up in the mornings. There is no sugar and only 5 calories per packet so a half packet has about 2 1/2 calories. Then I don't need to add any calories from sugar to my iced green tea. A lot of the time though I just drink it straight and sugarless, it's not bad once you get used to it, and like I said brewing it in the sun remove most of the green tea bite from it.

I drink green tea or white tea and red tea, but most of the time I drink green tea and white tea every day. It is my tea-drinking habit when I go to work in the office, but not at home. Drinking tea is good to our health, but I try not to drink tea in the evening as it will make me hard to fall asleep. Take care.
