My Pride and Joy

November 14, 2012 6:19pm CST
Every morning when I wake up I look over at my sons crib, and what do I see??? I see my pride and joy smiling at me. My son brightens my day everyday. I could be in the worst mood and all I need to do to get in a better mood is just look at my son and see his beautiful smile. Do you have the same pride and joy I have when you look at your kids??

Its good that you have something that you can wake up and look forward too. I have my 6 furbabies (3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 rabbit). They are what keep me going, knowing they need me. That when I am in a bad mood, they get up in bed, and cuddle.

I was told I couldnt have kids, not that I purposely tried. But my animals are my kids, and I perfer them actually. But its the same kind of feeling, they act just like kids can sometimes.

yeah i can understand that. I have 2 dogs and they act worse than my son plus my cousins 3 kids sometimes. I know they fight more than the kids do.

oh, yes! my children are both grown ups already, young adults of 22 and 20 years old. but they brighten my day every time i see them and it makes me wonder how they had made me so proud.

Of course, all moms are proud of their children. For me, whenever I see my son, all the problems disappear. he's just what I need to complete my day and keeps me going despite all the troubles I encounter every single day.

i feel the exact same way. my life is complete with my son in it.

Our kids are the reason why we are enthusiastic about everything. We offer all our hard work to them. And seeing their smile/happy faces surely melts a mother's heart.
