Yes if your dog already has wounds from scratching. Our dogs are all maltese and poodles, 16 dogs and fleas whew.. inevitable, we buy injectables for fleas and we inject them cause no flea shampoo can conquer the battallions of fleas on our dog.

Mine's a shih tZu and he's the only one I own (we have two more local dogs) . I don't know how you managed with 16 dogs. Anyway, I was thinking on using it on myself. i have been suffering from itches and I think my dog will welcome the same relief if I used it too on him.

whoaa. thought i have misspelled shihtzu in one of my posts. My spelling was shitzu.. so embarrassing. LOL . Yes, we were able to manage, we used to breed dogs and sell them. Until finally, we get tired. I don't think sulfur soap conforms with the shihtzu's hair, it might have corse hair.

I'll ask my vet about this. I am really desperate and I tihnk he transferred some fleas to me. My brother bought frontline which supposed to work but I don't know how effective it will be on him.

i have my spitz dog and its veterinarian recommend us to use sulfur soap to avoid from having fleas or it kills them. though that soap were actually good for humans specially for those having skin problems :)

I hope it works.I am quite sad that my puppy has to scratch all the fleas. And I am having a scratching problem myself because of the fleas.
