Swift code is nothing but a eight digit code that identifies the bank.
SWIFT code is a standard format of Bank Identifier Codes (BIC) and it is unique identification code for a particular bank.
These codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers. Banks also used the codes for exchanging other messages between them.
The SWIFT code consists of 8 or 11 characters. When 8-digits code is given, it refers to the primary office.
First 4 characters - bank code (only letters)
Next 2 characters - ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code (only letters)
Next 2 characters - location code (letters and digits) (passive participant will have "1" in the second character)
Last 3 characters - branch code, optional ('XXX' for primary office) (letters and digits)
As the last one says, the branch code is just optional. As almost all the banks have Internet banking (core banking), all the account details will be available at all core banking branches. Find the LOCATION nearest to you, and use that swift code. Your money will come to your account without problem.
Find your swift codes here: http://www.theswiftcodes.com/india/ (not a ref. link)

Ohhh God means moneybookers is not good site. Brother I hate both sites moneybookers and microworkers. Because paypal was good why microworkers change the way of paying money.

Oopps...there is not much information available on that link.
Other information are relevant, but the link doesn't have much information. Just make a search and go through the results.

It can;t be it that your bank doesn't has a swift code. It should have once because every bank has this code for international transactions. Please ask your bank manager once and then confirm it with moneybookers.

No use contacting admin of moneybookers. You must open an account in a bank who has swift code. Swift code is badly necessary for to remit or receive money internationaly.

You must have an account in Nagpur bank that has swift code. No transaction can be done without swift code.

There is no such rule. Persons can open accounts at one or more branches not only in the case SBI but also in the case of any Public Sector Banks of India.

It is impossible for a bank for not having any SWIFT Code because this Swift code is for other banks at other countries to recognize your bank for online transaction.
I advise you to call to the head office of your bank to find out the relevant right swift code.
If your local bank really does not have any swift code, I advise you to close your account because I suspect that this bank is not a healthy, but a risky bank.

What is 'moneybookers'?Normally all banks have this swift code for money transfer; if your bank doesn't have, you have to open account in any bank that has this, hope this helps
