I always do if possible so it won't ask me next time I submit my sub-comment.
Even if I saw the word already use as tag by the others- I still write the words that is/are appropriate to use.

It is necessary to put correct tags as I always skip tags. I hope it will not affect on our earnings or in some ways.

I'm sorry I thought you meant when posting a discussion. When responding I generally don't. The reason being is I didn't think by tagging my response would really do anything. If you're saying it makes it show up in a relevant search response then I suppose it could be helpful. I thought it only did that when you were the one that created the discussion for some reason.

It is good to know that you also put correct tags in a post.

I agree with you dpk tags are tools for searching the topic and I think we should put proper tag related to topic. I also try to put relevant tag.

I tag almost all of the posts I make, respond or comment. My reason to do it is that When I do it, mylot shows me related posts and many times I am interested in the subject enough as to pursue other approaches to the theme in question.

I really am not sure if submitting tags affects our earnings but I do it all the time, although in terms of correctness, I should say maybe not all the time. There are times when I am in a hurry and I have no time to really think of the right tag and I just type what comes out of my mind and they are not always correct.

I won't submit tags while responding to discussion. It also won't affect our earnings. But submitting tags will drive more readers to our discussion.
I will skip.it when I don't know what to give as tag.

even if we are not aware of the desired tag,we must try to match them, its not about earning, its proximity

It is quite rare for me to submit tags to a discussion that I have not created. I usually assume that the member who posted the discussion will have submitted the appropriate tags in order to make the discussion easier to find.
If I respond to a discussion that does not have tags or appears to lack the obvious and most relevant ones then I do add them, although this does not happen very often.

Mostly try to submit related tag with topics but some time copy and paste the title because some time title is small like tags. Some time skip the tag.

Correct tags means the word or phrase that represent the essense of what we type as a discussion, response or comment. Taging even helps an outsider find out information through search engines.

I try to put a tag with each response if I am not sure what I should tag it as I just skip it. Most of the time the tag I put is the main subject of the discussion. Putting a wrong tag would make it harder to find and respond to.

I'll submit correct tags when I've created a discussion so that others may find it and comment on it. As for responding to discussions, I've recently stopped doing it. It gets frustrating because there are so many right ways to do it. I'm just trying to save myself some time, especially since it really only should be done by the person who created the discussion.

I always skip the tags. I don't think skipping adding tags would affect our earnings. Why should it? I think tagging would make it easier for people to look up your discussions. For example, your tags include "tagging" and if people were to search for that keyword using myLot search box then your discussion will come up in the search results. So if you don't put the correct tags or the tags that people use to search then your discussion will not appear.

The whole idea of tagging posts is to make them more search friendly, not only for searching on MyLot, but for all search engines. For this reason, I always try to add in tags that I think are relevant to what is written.
In a way, I guess you could say that it could indirectly affect your earnings since correctly tagged posts should draw more traffic to the site and the discussion and more traffic equates to more revenue overall.
