silly and embarassing things dogs do.

Once I was looking for my dog I just could not find I was panicking she has run out the door or something. Well beside my sofa there is a newspaper basket and some cushions turns out she had fell into the basket and then the cushions fell on top of her so she was hidden. She was only a puppy so she was to small to get out. After many hours of searching for her and calling the Police I Eventually found her I was charged for wasting their time. They could of had a heart i loved my dog.

Hello Skye and welcome to myLot! Aren't they funny when they do things like this? Your story remembered of my first dog who did a similar thing many years ago. When she was about two, I had to leave the country for a month. I let her with my parents. My mother was in charge with feeding, walking and taking care of my dog. One day she had to work in a corn field. (back then she used to do that as a hobby...) She took Nera with her. My mother started to work and forget about Nera. After a few hours she started to panic. "Where is Nera? I've lost her! What will I do when my daughter returns home? What will I tell her?" - this is what she must have thought then. She called Nera - nothing. She yelled her name - still nothing. She was really panicked. When she had lost any hope to find Nera, she showed herself up with a sleepy face, stretching her bones and yelling. She was sleeping in a close meadow but she didn't hear when my Mom called her.

They do charge for wasting their time? How long before you really need to call them in order that you don't get charged? One of the most embarrassing thing I did for a pet is to sing in order that my dog stop barking! She wanted to play and I wanted her to sleep, so I sang until she decided to just sleep. Hehehe.. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

we usually have dogs at home since my father really loves them and at the same time they are the one who watch our house when no one is around,i like puppy's coz they are too cute and funny at times. Dogs somehow are big help to us.

Puppies can be so cute sometimes. Mine is big now- I love her so much. She brings the little pillow from the couch, to lay on under my desk. If I take it back.. she will bring it in her again. So cute.

This reminds me of a puppy story I have :D. Family friends bought a new dog, who was only two months old, even less, and we went to meet the dog. I was playing with it, rolling a ball in front of him, and he would run after it. The ball hit a cupboard, the dog ran after it, kind of knocked the cupboard, and didn't move. I was 8 or 9 then. And I thought I just killed the dog. I was so terrified. My mom almost couldn't persuade me of the fact that the dog is just sleeping, and a puppy can fall asleep all of a sudden :).

It was an honest mistake. I think charging you for wasting their time is a bit harsh. Most dogs would of barked or moved the basket enough for you to notice. I'd probably of done the same thing. My dog sometimes likes to play hide and seek with me too. She follows me around all the time. I tend to keep my closet and my extra rooms closed to save on energy. Occasionally she'll follow me into one of these rooms without me realizing it and I'll close the door behind me. Then like an idiot ten minutes later I'm frantically calling my silly dog.
