sometimes i wonder why some people who have got jobs that bring them a fat salary fail to invest or even save for the future and when the job get finished or retire they become so poor that they can not feed themselves unlike those that get low pay are able to save the little they get and invest it some where then in the near by future even if they retire they can still support themselves and their families. what do you think could the problem.

Maybe they are thinking that the present situation that they are into has no end. There are also times that because their extended families know that they are earning that much, those were coming to them most of the time or support.
But personally, saving for the future must become a practice of everybody.
Have a nice day!

It's really important to save up. Nowadays, in my country, most people can't really save up to help their parents, just for their own families, unfortunately. But it is important to think about the future. Because once everyone is going to be torn apart from family, and then they should fend for themselves, and do anything themselves. So they have to be prepared for anything that my come their way. Living from one day to another might be exciting, but it's always better to have money in the savings for emergency - a heavy illness, the water system going wrong, a stolen car, an arriving baby etc.

I guess a lot of people who have money that way just use it for the present. Perhaps they are so busy buying things and paying for things now that they do not set money aside for their savings. It is really sad to see things like that happen but it does. That reminds us to save for the future we never know what might happen.
