I recently walked into a gas station and heard Christmas music. I don't want to see or hear anything related to Christmas before Thanksgiving. Where's the anticipation? Where's the build up? Please no Santa Claus, not yet.

Oh my. I also hate when stores rush Christmas. I mean, I love Christmas spirit and I'm a Christmas freak, but everything has its own time. From the middle of December, maybe earlier, it's okay... but now? Also, I got really tired of Christmas music last year when I was working in a mall. The cenrtal music system of the mall played the 5 same songs in a row from the beginning of December to even January! I mean, on New Year's Eve as well! And they weren't even that good, they were awful popped up versions of classics, but not even upbeat enough... after some days, I even the knew the order of them...

A rerun of Christmas songs? I understand it from the guests standpoint, because it's one big rotation of customers. But for the employees, it has to grind on their nerves.

They start all the Christmas stuff before we even get to Halloween. It actually depresses me to hear it at all. They take away the anticipation and the build up. I hate it!
