What will you be doing for Thanksgiving dinner?

With Thanksgiving coming up I was wondering how many people were planning to have a big family dinner at their house or if anyone was volunteering at a shelter on Thanksgiving? I have two family Thanksgiving dinners. One is on my mother's side at my grandmas and the other dinner is on my dads side at my grandmas. One day when I have a big enough house I would love to invite all my family members on both side over for Thanksgiving as well as anyone who does not have a place to go for Thanksgiving.

It is going to be at my home this year again, As I have the most room to accomodate everyone. But my daughter and her teenage daughters are cooking. I just made some pies. Nice.

That's very noble of you to want to have a big dinner for everyone. I hope you can do that one day! In my family, things are kinda small. My mom's family meets up at my aunt's house. My grandparents passed away a few years ago and we don't do much with my dad's side. However, two of my siblings and some cousins won't be able to come this year. After dinner at my aunt's, my brother and parents will hang out and maybe watch something or play a game. It's one of my favorite holidays since it's so laidback. The only drawback is that everyone will be asking each other what they want for Christmas!

Sounds like you have a busy Thanksgiving. I am going to my mom's house for Thanksgiving and she is cooking a dinner like she does every year. My dad and I usually don't celebrate Thanksgiving and he's working on that day any how. The only thing my dad and i celebrate with my sisters is Christmas we usually cook a big dinner then because we celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve with my mom, so it works out perfect. I can't wait til the holiday season it's a lot of fun and no stress at work because were usually slow around this time of year.

I don't think my family has decided yet what we're doing. We usually all get together (me, my parents, my aunts, uncles, and cousins) and have dinner at my grandparents' house. Each family brings a dish or two and my grandpa does the turkey and a few other sides and desserts. Last year they all went to Disney World but I had to stay behind because I had to work on Black Friday. I still haven't heard what the plans are for this year. My family is very last minute for decisions and my grandparents have the hardest time choosing what to do. Hopefully I know the plan by Wednesday night lol
