I know people use their parents or grandparents handicap placard. It makes me sick to see a physically healthy person get out of the car when no is wrong with them. Really? Is it that inconvienent to walk an extra 20 feet to the front of the store? This is a really big pet peeve of mine.

I know how you feel. This also gets to me especially when I go to the mall. I mean, most would wait for a vacant spot or drive around for a while, and then you see someone just taking a slot reserved for handicaps. And sometimes these people even have a smirk on their face as if they're proud of what they've done.

I see no smirk on their face when their car gets towed sometimes.

Oh, how much I hate that. Those spaces are for the handicapped people, not the lazies who think they deserve a better spot, and they're better than everyone. Oh, once, there was a really uneducated, redneck-ish type of family filmed in my country for a weekly investigation TV show, and they were asked why they parked on the spot... and they wanted to deny it, then they tried to explain it! They said that they parked there because they can't read and write... when there's the PICTURE of th wheelchaired man there, no captions or anything! People just wouldn 't admit that they don't care about it or they are wrong. Oh, and nowadays, people ABUSE identification cards for disabled people just to be able to park in betters spots. And I even heard about one case when a guy insisted that he was really disabled, and all he had was a cut on his wrist, and then, he didn't understand why they wanted to remove his car...

Yeah, there will always be people taking handicap spots, but then again there will always be people to degrad.e them for it, as we should.

I'd take their license away if it was up to me. I have too much sympathy for those with physical ailments.
