So my aunt s having to have back surgery and she owns and runs a daycare out of her home but since receiving news that she needed surgery she has closed down her daycare or the time being. She has been goin through some depression and my father says to just let her e but I have this nagging feeling to go spend time with the family. Should i follow my dads advice since he would know her best. I am just concerned and have a few young kids that maybe just having some laughing children in the house would raise her spirits.

that is there for anyone nowadays and your aunt must understand the surgery value and must cooperate and must set an example

Sounds to me your aunt lives for and loves children. You should do what your heart tells you. Depressed people need something to take their mind of their worries otherwise they will sink deeper and deeper. To my opinion it's a very good idea to spend time with her and take your kids with you. They will surely bring her some happiness, even if you should not notice it at the moment you are there (depressed people are in their depression but do notice what is happening around them and will think it over later as well). Your father is a man, man feel complete different about children, daycare, etc as women do.
