Life is very painful while borning the child

Yes I think India have law for abortion. Abortion is allowed here if there is risk of life of mother of child. It is also here more over abortion is done because of girl child.

Hi! The news makes us sad. The laws of that country are strange and are governed by religion and not based on human consideration. Hope by this incident, the Government of country would consider changing its laws in favour of expectant mothers.

Oh, that's sad. I guess if the mother is in danger, they should allow it. In my country, I guess they're doing it if there is a threat in the mother's life. However, abortion is not legal to us. It's prohibited. I guess she got poisoned. May God bless her soul. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear this, but can you tell me, who is the enemy of the female fetus? It is none else than the mother usually, it is she runs to the private nursing home or some doctor for abortion; may be the hubby and MIL too; but if she doesnot go, how is the abortion possible? hi surekha, I am against abortion the only time I will agree on it if the situation or medical condition is asking for it but intentionally it is not good for me. In my country there are laws that condemn this act but there are heartless people that still do this . happy mylotting

Sad to hear this news. The life of Iirland could have been saved if not for the crooked mind of those law makers who value their crooked law and not the life.

I think in emergency cases the doctors should be allowed to abort the pregnancy as it is too risky for the pregnancy to reach full term. Abortion is also illegal in my country but the law can be bent and under doctors recommendation abortion is allowed.

I think abortion is also illegal here, I'm not sure. I don't like abortion, to tell you the truth. It's nothing different from killing a human being. I'm sure you'll agree with me if I say that an unborn child is already a human being because it already has life even though it's still in the mother's womb.

I am sure those harsh laws of yours are only crafted by men. I wish that one day men there will be a reversal of roles and that this time, it's the man who will become pregnant. Let us see how they would react to that.

Btw, there's one passage in the bible which is describe this situation: "A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." Woman will have a life threatening incident, it is called pregnant. AFter nine months, the baby will come and the mother's life is threatened because she can die just by borning the child.. Let us give thanks to our mother... This make me remember of my mother... sorry mom :'(

I have read about this the other day and its also bothering me. I am not sure about the Law in Ireland but it's just saddening. I don't know what's the view of the Catholic Church about this but to think of it the family lost two lives and not just one. I want to know what's the American view about this, certainly one life has to suffer and they will save the mother's life. As we all know the baby will not sure survive the ordeal. I feel the pain the family has going through,it's just very bad they were in the wrong place.

i read that news. i wish that the mother could have been saved. i'd rather lose my baby than have both the baby and the mother die.

Hi dear, There may be complications in pregnancies, in the case of such complications, if the fetus is danger to the life of mother, the abortion is allowed by Law. In this place they refused to do the abortion in the name of religion, which is nonsense in my opinion. All religion teaches us to love and care each other. None of the religions teaching to do wrong acts to any. I felt the doctors failed to understand what is to be done in the case of this lady, they blindly hold on their beliefs, which really unfortunate and the lady lost her life.

In India laws are made to be broken. I feel all those nursing homes and hospitals that provide abortion facility in India should be closed and their license should be cancelled. And any doctor who helps or performs abortion should be given life time imprisonment and his degree should be cancelled by the medical Council Of India.

It's really painful. What sin did the child do that it had to die..;(
