collections i used to have

I used to collect scented stationaries way back in school days too. I miss those papers. I used to exchange those too with my clasmates and it is just a collection because most of it are just kept in a box for me to see.

I really can't consider myself as a collector as I don't spend much money in my collections. I just collect stuffed toys of dogs. It varies from dog pillow, dog toys and dog stuffed toy. Basically anything related to dogs. I have recently purchased a glass cabinet where I put my collections. Most of these are gifts. My friends know exactly that I want dog stuffs as a gift so I collected it. I think I just purchased few toys but mostly are gifts.

Yes, my wife used to collect scented stationeries when in high school days. She shows all these when she has nothing to do. She used to explain to me how she get this stuff. At times she tells she exchange items among her friends. She is very happy when she thinks of those good old days.

Yes, like you do I have also collections right now. One is the stuff that has a logo of our company. I am doing that because, one time it came to my mind that I can not predict how long will I stay on my present company, so better to collect those stuff that will make me as a memorabilia in my employer. I have shirts already, key chains, ball pens, even fan and umbrella. Anything that came from my company and having a logo as a sign that long ago I worked with them.

Thanks for sharing your thought .As a child I too was fond of collecting scented stationary ,pens ,dolls & other items. I do keep a stock of them & still not would not like to dispose it of . Some people think that they are simply rubbish but I do not think the same.

Angel figurines. My students used to give angel figurines as christmas gifts. I have collected almost all kinds of angels, figures, they were all so cute in little figures. So i started buying too whenever i see a unique one. Like, a chinese angel or an angry angel. Yes, the have grown so big. One time I saw an empty aquarium at home. I put lots and lots of cottons in it, and also rainbow styrofoam from a decoration of a birthday cake. Made them their house. Put the angels in it as if I am like playing dolls again. LOL. It was fun and it made me smile.

Of yes, everyone has a collection at some point in their life. I must admit that this is the first time that I have heard of a collection such as yours, but of course the whole idea is to collect something that personally interests you. I collected banknotes a long time ago, which was a very interesting subject. I learned a great deal about the history of banknotes and the methods of production. Like yourself I am rather unsure what happened to many of the items that I had, which seems odd because should remember exactly how they were finally disposed of.

I was forever collecting things in my younger days and would display them proudly in my bedroom, the trouble was when I started to constantly move, I would have to pack them all up each time and it became added weight, on top of everything else I had to move when moving home. So gradually over time I gave my collections away, I don't collect anything now, mainly because of the thought of having to pack it up and move it again!

i have several collection of old stuff (not quite antiques but almost there). i have collected blue glass, old books, old postcards and the like. i really love old stuff!

I used to collect Hakeem Olajuwon NBA cards when I was in highschool. It's really weird, though. I had a lot of them, but they were just the standard types like Double Deck. I also had a Reggie Miller Around the World edition, which is like a 3d card if you slant it sideways. That card was really expensive once you sell it. I've never had a Hakeem Olajuwon expensive card.

I think most girls do love collecting those scented stationery.I started collecting them as early as I was 9 years old. Then when I was in College, I started collecting pig figurines. I was really fascinated by them. Unfortunately, because my husband and I kept on changing our place to live in, some of my collections got lost (or stolen)and from that time, I didn't pursue with the collection anymore. I had a growing family that needs me to save up for everyday expenses.

Hi neelia! I also had a time when I made collecting stationery as a hobby because my friends are doing it too. you know, we sometimes exchange our stuff. But that was when I was still in high school. Never mind when it was. Several years ago, I also became fond of angel figurines but I already stopped buying these things but the angels that I have were still with me until now. I am thinking of getting additional items but maybe if I am not so busy. As of now I just don't have enough time fr other activities. Have a nice day!
