Cheap webcam and mouse

Today i finally bought a webcam after 2 of my other webcam got spoiled as i use it as a cctv. I went to two computer shop earlier and found out that the prices are bit high. So today i decided to go to a computer mall where theres a lot of gadgets for computers and its like heaven. I first bought a wireless mouse and the price was really cheap like USD5/- then i bought a webcam that cost USD6/. Upon reaching home i tried the mouse, guess what the cursor just go round and round uncontrollably then i fix the webcamthe wire was too short it could hardly reach the my table. I dont blame the shop but myself for not checking and reading the print. Have you got this experience before.
