Friends what about online shopping?

I fear from online shopping because I heard no original good are supplied and I dont want to share my credit card number on net. But my friends told me it is good and discount also received.

I thought that it would be easy to shop online, but I have found out that not every store does shipping to every country. Many big stores have shipping only in continental US. That`s where I say to myself that online shopping is just starting. I`ll wait until it`s developped.

I enjoy online shopping. It is much more convenient and there are many options. And you can see the product feedback from other buyers and therefore you can decide whether you want to buy this product or not. Especially the price is less expensive to buy online. Even if you include the delivery fee, it is still cheaper than buying from the real store.

I've had bought a few things online. I say, I'd still rather buy them in the malls coz I am sure that I am buying something without defects or the price is reasonable enough for the items.

I am also currently into online shopping nowadays coz i don't have much time to roam around town therefore online shopping got my interest. But sometimes i am not satisfied with the items that i buy (only some) since sometimes it doesn't fit me that much then the pictures posted are not really the same when you have it already. but generally it's more convenient than going town.

Hi chaitra, I too very much enjoy online shopping. If you have access to different online shopping website, you can compare and can able to select product at good reasonable price, plus offers your bank provide (now many online shopping website are connected- tie up) so its added advantage. But before buying its also good to review the website from where are buying the product, if not very sure about website, then best is go with COD (cash on delivery option)

I have been shopping online for years since I don't drive and don't like to bother people for rides. I belong to a site that gives you points for every dollar you spend at a lot of stores so I usually do that. So, I'm shopping and earning at the same time. Recently I found my favorite cat litter online for cheaper than in the stores. It weighs 34 lbs. so I could never carry it home from the store plus I usually get free shipping. Nothing better than free shipping!

Hi Chaitra, It is good to know that you have good experience with online shopping. I know shopping outside with a baby is very difficult. I have experienced it and know the difficulties very well. However, I have never done any shopping online so far. In fact, I am not sure about the quality of the products we get through online. One of my friends told me, she bought a cloth and there was a defect in it. When she tried to exchange the same, they refused as the exchange should be done within 3 days of purchase. She noticed the defects only when the tailor point out when giving it for stitching.

I have done a bit of online shopping in the past but for the last couple of years have been a bit reluctant because there are so many sites come up in the past few years that I am not sure which is genuine. When there was just one site then they were always giving genuine products because they wanted to be in the market.

Chaitra, how are you now? It had been quite long i didn't see you posting in here. How old is your son now? I do shop online if i can't find suitable stuff that i wanted. Besides that, shopping online can saves quite a lot of our time. We don't have to worry about the time being spend on shopping. Shopping online gives us chance to shop any time and from anywhere, as long we are connected to internet. If i don't have time to shop for Christmas gift, i think i will shop online again.

That makes sense. I would probably do the same in your situation. I like online shopping but not for everything. For example clothes and shoes I generally have to try on - sizes vary from brand to brand, also comfort/fit. I just dislike paying for shipping. I live so close to about 7 different malls that it makes more sense, economically, for me to drive to pick up what I need. BUt sometimes the convenience with online shopping is totally worth it.

Hi Chaitra My sons also will buy so many things online only. So far we bought web cam, mobile, hard disk, head phone DSB, weighing machine, ear studs, 2 laptops and somany other stuff. So far no complaints about it

Hi Can you mention the name of the site where you bought? I too did some online shopping but mostly books . The service is good for some sites like homeshop18, urbantouch and flipkart.

i start online shopping when in university, at first i scared to shopping, because i scared that the thing not as in the picture. but after few times trying . i m very satisfied with that. just make u easy because u get your thing in front of your door.

I also like online shopping. I can still remember the very first thing I ever bought online. It was a book that belonged to a series I used to love reading as a kid. I bought it on eBay back in 2004. These days, I pretty much do all my online shopping on Amazon. Typically though it's DVDs or blu-rays that I'll buy on there. Occasionally I will buy other things but mostly movies though. I've never really had many bad experiences. Two or three times max. Two items I received pretty much didn't work the way they were supposed to--one barely at all. That was a pair of spy sunglasses that had a hidden camera inside it. When I got them, they recorded maybe a few seconds and then the video was just a garbled mess. So I finally got the guy to refund my money. Otherwise though most of my experiences have been great.
