Attacks by Israel in Gaza last night?? When Hamas fired rocket propelled granades into your city and killed many people, i am sure as a government leader, you will have to do whatever it take to stop them from doing that in the day ahead to keep your people alive. It is just a retaliation from Isreal to stop the terrorists from continue to fire down their rockets from Gaza Strip, not sending the whole middle east into war.

If the larger Arab world want to start a war in middle east by constantly provoke its only non islamic neighbor in the region, then i guess there is no holding back for war to happen, it only need one side to make it possible. But for peace to prevail, it is much more difficult to reach, it need all sides to the conflict to cooperate and refrain from bellicose action, end all provocation without condition. It is hard for Hamas to agree on that, its own political manifesto is to wipe state of Isreal off the map of middle east and kill all Isrealis. Isrealis government can either hold back from self defense or getting wipe off by Hamas by their rockets.

exactly, so how can you blame Israel when they attacked an entity that has openly said that it wants the destruction of the entire Israel state and its people?

Israel is defending itself. If Hamas wants to retaliate for that, then, yes, a war is possible. Hamas was determined to provoke Israel until they had to react. "The entire middle east" probably won't be in on it because too many of those nations are too busy quibbling among themselves.

ic, they say that political atmosphere has changed drastically in the middle east due to uprisings on the different arab nations, some say that Israel is playing on dangerous waters this time, they no longer have mubarak in Egypt to hold the other Arab nations back and force diplomacy, what is your thought on that?

I haven't heard of the news but this is just so tiring now. I remember researching about Israel and the middle east way back in High School. A lot of blood had been shed already. Whenever there are peace treaties to sign there will always be an assassination that's bound to happen.
All I can do now is just to pray for them and hope it doesn't really turn out to be another war

war is already going on out there ever since time immemorial, everyday there is killing and dying. there is nothing new when it comes to that.if governments there are not at war with other nations then they are war with their own people.

there is a relative unstable peace in the land, but then again, it is short lived
