I hate it when I surf on the net on how to do such and such things, then end up entering the site that sell books on how to do it. I wanted free advice... or maybe I just want to read something about my problem and get soothed by it, not spending money...

I can't say that I've ever really had that issue. There are so many legitimate websites that offer information on such a wide variety of topics, one should be able to find a free resource on just about anything.
Did you try several different variations on the search term? Maybe a couple of different search engines?

Yes I did, what I meant was not all of the time, sometimes when I read something on the net, then the contents of the material was so convincing and promising until it led me to a site where they sell books for advice,
.
It is kind of disaappointing sometimes...
