Especially, for people like me who like me who would like to hear sound and rational thoughts about society and politics. For some people, politics is all propaganda, bordering on emotional. it's good to see some good debate on issues and things that politicians won't discuss or simply refuse to answer. Of course, you have the pros and cons, the supporters and the critics. But everybody does everyone a service by adding something useful to the discussion. Also, people on forums deal with facts and can refute or engage in an argument. Sometimes, you see the best and worst of people while debating.
I hope that this trend (which is used by many people will spread its use. Citizens need to think on how their governments work and behave. Today's media is hardly objective and takes the spin world to a new level.
The world needs a little less spin and more on thoughts and sound policies.

I also like internet forums because this is the way where one can debate on a particular issue and share everybody's thoughts.

I agree. I just hope people will see politicians as they are. Some see them as means to an end but surely, they won't give up without a fight. Most of the time, they mess up and they mess up big time.

Global politics is unipolar and quite biased now. Only few jews are ruling over the world where we are just a poor spectator. Who cares us!

We might be spectators but we can from an opinion. Of course, we might have a looser grip on global politics but we can get a good picture of what the world is turning to be.

Yup they are it is a vast and huge information hiway. Everyone in it goes along with it. If one does not agree, this person turn left or right but it doesn't mean that this person goes out of the hiway. Those who have not participated means they simply stop for a drive through perhaps or they have run out of gas. Yes, it frees your mind and liberates your spirit. Lol those politicians who who don't answer. they were the one caught by the police, violating traffic rules. LOL.

Nice scenario. I do hope politicians have in some way try to even participate in these forums.I wonder if they get trolled. Anyway, it's good to see other points of view even though you already have or having a hard time finding a good position. Of course, you want to see all arguments but if you are leaning towards something, you are also free to express it.

Indeed, forums are great for good discussions. You are able to share your thoughts, belief with other people on one hand and on other hand you meet new people, theire thoughts, beliefs. Also you can get new informations about different cultures, religions, habits...
But what can be a side effect of forums is, that many people, especially discussing about politics, society and other important things or issues, can wrong believe that thy did what they can just joining forum debates. Which is wrong, cause yes you are heard by many people, but most important not by people who have influence on that certain problem, at least this is the case in my country, where forums are still mainly seen as expressing feelings and having fun or arguing with other people, but politicians and other important people still don't recognize the importance of good forums not fun sites like facebook, twitter, myspace (these are good for enjoying having fun, but not real public discussions).

I have to agree that some politicians have to realize the importance of forums in terms of society problems or issues (including politics). It's easier when it comes to social media like Facebook or Twitter. Who needs sentences when you can do it in less than 200 characters? Anyway, even if I am following a certain thread, you cannot help some people to troll or follow the conversation. Too many issues are discussed at once and you really can't follow unless you willing to use multiple tabs.
I would like to say that I wish some suggestion on the forums that I visited will be taken up into open. I just don't know if otehr people have the time, patience and the mind to understand them.there are many good suggestion but I feel when it comes to politicians , it will just be what the popular (but sometimes stupid) thing to do. I also realize that some people have barely a grasp of what they try to discuss. Some people makes sense and others don't.
